A table that has no shape.

Is it possible to design a table that has no shape? Can we leave it to nature and material technology to find their own image?

​

Designing of such a table doesn't take place in front of the computer or on a sheet of paper. It is done on the joiner's workbench, with chisels, planes and saws. The process of making the model encourages reflection on the material, its growth, strength and manufacturing technique. The final product is not about the man's desire for beauty. It is merely about the truth of nature.
